Mag. Sebastjan Selan - CEO and Owner
Sebastjan Selan, MA, holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science from the Faculty of Social Sciences (FDV) in Ljubljana. From 1999 to 2012, he was employed by the Slovene Intelligence and Security Agency (SOVA), where he served in his final years, from 2010 to 2012, as the director of the agency.
From 2012 to 2019, he successfully managed Marina Portorož d.d. During this period, he led, organised and participated in various nautical trade fairs, events and regattas. He carried out several different projects (revitalisation of the island of Marina Portorož, implementation of the 3maran floating home project, adoption of the Thermal Riviera municipal detailed spatial development plan, signing of a new Concession Agreement for Marina Portorož).
During this same period, in addition to managing Marina Portorož d.d., he also worked in other areas (tourism, trade, logistics and distribution), managing companies M Kapital d.d. and M Naložbe d.d. for five years, as well as companies Terme Čatež d.d. and Delo Prodaja d.d. for two years.
In 2017, he founded his own consulting company S-Teams, d.o.o.
In July 2019, his term in Marina Portorož d.d. was regularly completed, and he took on new independent challenges as the director and owner of 3maran trženje, d.o.o. and as the owner and director of 3 Star Adriatic d.o.o. Both companies manufacture and sell floating homes and develop comprehensive infrastructure projects for floating homes (houseboats) throughout the Adriatic Sea.
